The white building with the columns is on the northwest corner of 16th & Farnam and is the United States National Bank. The red brick building across the street on the northeast corner of 16th & Farnam with the conical top is the Paxton Block. The title "Farnam Street, Omaha, Neb." is at the top center in red. The numbers 6563 are in the top right corner.
Farnam Street runs east-west, and was originally spelled "Farnham." It was named in honor of Henry Farnam, Banker of Hartford, CT, one of the promoters of the Rock Island Railroad.
