The chapel room in Union College's administration building can be seen in this 5-1/2" x 3" black and white photograph. Rows of wooden chairs face the front of the room, where there is a small platform with chairs and a plant on a stand. There is a set of wooden double doors with a painting depicting several men on the wall above them. To the left of the doors, there is a large painting of a landscape, and to the right of the doors, there is a chalkboard. There are cords hanging between the door and the picture of the administration building in the center of the wall.

Historical Notes
The hanging of golden cords to represent Union College alumni who have served as missionaries in other countries started with a class gift in 1906 and has since become a symbol of the college. The college annual and the current alumni magazine are both named after this tradition.
