Historical Notes
Edward Dworak was born in Nebraska in June 1875. He moved to David City in 1899 from the Bruno/Linwood, Nebraska, area and worked as a bookkeeper before being promoted to a bank cashier. Ed and his wife, Ida, had a daughter, Gloria, born Novembe 30, 1906, in Nebraska. Gloria attended David City High School and Duschesne College in Omaha, Nebraska. Gloria married Morris Locke and they had one daughter, Marianne. Gloria died in June 20, 1968, in Denver, Colorado, and is buried in Mount Olive Cemetery, Denver.
