Historical Notes
Fay Osterhout was the daughter of Frank M. and Anna Johnson Osterhout, a lumberman in David City, and the granddaughter of Judge George Washington Osterhout, one of the earliest settlers of Butler County, Nebraska. Fay was born February 22, 1890. She married Howard L. Britt and they lived in Lincoln where Howard worked as salesman and Fay worked as a cashier for an automobile company. Fay died January 1980 in Lincoln.
