A 4"x6" glass plate negative, bust portrait photograph of three women from the J. J. Bolin family, Millerton, Nebraska. One woman is wearing a long-sleeve black dress with white embroidered lace around the scoop-necked bodice which is slit to the waist and around the upper sleeve and around the high-stand collar of the black under blouse, a circular rhinestone pin at the throat and a watch chain around her neck. One woman is wearing a dark dress with wide, white over-the-shoulder lapels covered with a wider, dark lace collar, alternating strips of light and dark fabric up the center front, a light high-stand collar edged with two rows of narrow black trim and a brooch at the neckline. Another woman is wearing a dark, long-sleeve dress with sweetheart-cut bodice seam and three lengths of lighter-colored trim radiating from arm-holes and bodice front up to the top of the high-stand collar with a brooch pinned to one side of the collar. All three women have their long hair swept up on their head and dark ribbon bow in her hair.
