A turntable, with three sets of railroad tracks leading to it, slots cars into one of seven bays. A boxcar with an open top on sits on the left track; more tracks with trains on them are visible in the background. Behind the round house is the double-roofed boiler house and the brass foundry is just visible to its right with two smokestacks. The white building in the distance to the right of the foundry houses the machine and erecting shops. The storage building is the farthest building in the distance on the right.
