This 5-1/2" x 3-1/3" black and white postcard shows business buildings on both sides of the street and cars parked in the middle of the road. A building on the right of the postcard has a sign that says "Buy it in Fairmont". Printed on the postcard is: Main Street, Fairmont, Nebr.
This postcard shows Fairmont Avenue. In the lower right of postcard is Parnell's Sinclair station, which offered the best grades of gasoline, oils, tires, and accessories. Gasoline was sold at 26.5 cents. Farmers State Bank, built in 1885, is the brick building across from the service station.
