This concrete block warehouse is the home of the Yager Nursery as shown in this black and white photograph. Its location is on Bell Street, north of Sixteenth Street. The building has three metal ventilators on its top and four windows in the roof serve to add some illumination to the interior. A lean-to shed is attached to the rear of the structure. Males and females representing the employees and most likely the proprietors have gathered for the photograph. The clothing they are wearing represents some suitable for dress, but also a good variety of work apparel. Types of items worn include suits, overalls, vests, pants, jackets, skirts, blouses and a wide variety of hats and caps. A wagon load of large packing crates is backed up to the warehouse entrance and glimpses of two automobiles are seen to the far right. A small boy is seated on the office door step playing with a dog. A few examples of the nursery's products are seen, including a tree potted in a wooden pail. One man seems to examine the branches of an uprooted bush while another holds a rooted plant.
