This two story, false-fronted brick building faces south on Fremont's Factory Street and is identified as John Monnich's Ford Assembling Plant. The wide, ramped entrance suggests an accommodation for completed motor vehicles. Twelve of the twenty-six visible original windows have been covered. The scene yields sparse details with the exception of a sign posted in front of the structure which reads: "Sales and Service, Ford and Fordson, Cars, Trucks, and Tractors, John Monnich, Fremont and North Bend, Neb.
