Historical Notes
Built to replace a barn thought to be the origin of a tuberculosis infection in the dairy herd, the new barn measured 34 x 136 feet and could hold up to 70 cows and 250 tons of hay. Construction came in at just under $6,000. Today this institution exists as the Hastings Regional Center. Further statistics and information can be found in the report.
