This 14-story Late Renaissance Revival building was constructed in 1917 and designed by Chicago architectural firm Graham, Burnham & Company. The financial institution began as the Kountze Brothers Banking House in 1857. Reorganized in 1863, it became Nebraska's first nationally chartered bank.
