The residence of Charles Turner, located at 3316 Farnam Street in Omaha, Nebraska, can be seen from across a street in this black and white lantern slide. The house is largely obscured from view by the trees in the yard, but a turret can be seen at the corner of the house. A sidewalk runs alongside the street.
Charles Turner came to Omaha as a government surveyor and became involved in the real estate business. In 1900, he donated to the city a tract of land that became Curtiss Turner Park, named in memory of his son. Source: Morton, Julius Sterling.
