A brick building, mostly obscured from view by large trees, stands next to a dirt street in this 5" x 3 1/2" black and white photograph. Signage is painted on one side of the building, reading "Yeast Foam" and other words that are partially obscured by the trees. A buggy hitched to a horse is parked in front of the building. A man stands on the sidewalk near the building, and two children with a baby buggy stand in the street.
This building was built in 1892 for the George Nycum & Company general store, and later became the Wickard & Nodding store. In 1920, it became a movie theater. By the 1950s, it was the home of the Rebekah Lodge. It was demolished in 1990.
