Description
Water fills a ten-foot deep trench cut into Gardiner Street by flood waters in this 5" x 3" black and white photograph looking to the east. Wood framed houses and utility poles line the street. Some of the poles are leaning where the water eroded the soil around them. Written on the photograph is: 8500, Flood scene Mar. 30, 1912, Valley, Neb.
