This 5-1/5" x 3" black and white photograph focuses on a two-story brick building with a cloth awning and sign identifying the Nebraska Power Co. On this business street, a sidewalk runs in front of three buildings, the partial one showing on the left is a false-front wooden building with a striped awning.
This building originally housed the Johnson Hardware. Later Valley changed over to Omaha Public Power, a publicly-owned utility which took over the building in December of 1956. The building is now owned by Ms. Wendy Deane.
